Marietta Museum of History

Located on the second floor of the historic Kennesaw House, the Marietta Museum of History is one of the city's hidden treasures.
The Local History Gallery features exhibits on the local Native American culture, the early gold mining industry of the state, some military history vignettes and influential local businesses.
The Military Gallery displays soldier's items from conflicts beginning with the Revolutionary War to the present. This is also where the stories of local war heroes are told.
The Homelife Gallery houses the Museum's collection of vintage items that were popular to everyday life in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Andrew's Raiders Room tells the Civil War story of the daring plot by Union raiders to damage Confederate supply lines.
