Thank you for your interest in Atlanta. The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) assists journalists with travel and convention stories about Atlanta by suggesting attractions, cultural venues and other points of interest.
To most effectively meet your needs, we ask your cooperation in following these guidelines:
Journalists must be on assignment. Please submit a letter of assignment and previous work samples of recent travel or travel-related coverage to Amanda Latson (alatson@atlanta.net).
A minimum of three weeks notice is required for all press visits.
The ACVB is unable to provide airfare. However, MARTA, Atlanta's mass transit system, is convenient and inexpensive.
Meals are not provided during your stay, unless you are a food writer or host of a food show. In the event an ACVB representative is on tour with you, your meals may be provided during the tour by the ACVB. If you would like to contact an individual restaurant, please refer to our Dining Guide.
The ACVB asks that you please forward an original copy of your coverage resulting from your trip to Atlanta.
Complimentary arrangements are provided at the discretion of the host businesses and are subject to availability. Blackout periods may necessitate a press rate, especially at hotels.
Our primary goal is assisting working press. Accommodating spouses, children and visitors accompanying working press is at the discretion of ACVB partners.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
