As a theological institution of the Presbyterian Church (USA), Columbia's mission is to prepare imaginative, resilient leaders for Christ's church. Approximately 450 students are enrolled in degree programs. Another 2,000 participants enroll each year in non-degree courses and events offered for church professionals and lay people through the Center for Lifelong Learning.
The seminary has 36 full-time faculty members and offers six degree programs:

Only six miles from downtown Atlanta, Columbia's campus is situated on a spacious, wooded site in Decatur. In addition to academic buildings and a student center (with dining hall), on-campus housing is available for single students and those with families.
A short drive from campus are Agnes Scott College and Emory University, Stone Mountain Park, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History and Science Center, and neighborhood restaurants, shops, an international farmers market and music nightspots.
The metropolitan Atlanta area offers abundant recreational, entertainment and cultural resources from historic sites to symphony and museums to sports.

At This Point
A free, online-only journal published by Columbia's faculty, At This Point is published twice a year, in the spring and fall.
Conference on Ministry
Twice a year, the seminary offers weekends for prospective students. Except for transportation costs, the event is free.
Certificate in Spiritual Formation
Columbia'spirituality program draws students from across the country. Introductory courses are offered throughout the year, in weekend and weeklong format.
